About

Our Mission

The Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Atlas is collaborative effort to highlight and advance the use of ultrasound around the world - focusing on rare, exotic and perfectly captured ultrasound images.

All of our content is free, open access, and peer-reviewed available to be shared and used for global ultrasound education.

The Team

Michael Macias MD Founder/Designer

Matthew Riscinti MD Co-founder

Emergency Medicine Resident at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. I believe in free open access education, the POCUS revolution, and application of POCUS internationally and in austere settings. Outside of the department, my time is spent rock climbing, snowboarding and traveling throughout the United States with my camera in hand. Carissa Solari MS4 Chief of Operations & Social Media Specialist
