ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be a member of SAEM AEUS at the time of the application deadline, have an advanced/doctoral or terminal educational degree (e.g., MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, DSc or equivalent) and are actively involved with a department or division of emergency medicine. Preference will be given to applications that demonstrate originality and appropriate mentorship for the project to be successful.
FINANCIAL AWARD
Awardee(s) will receive a $200-2000 scholarship from SAEM / AEUS depending on demonstrated need. The intention for this scholarship is to offset implementation costs of POCUS initiatives. The awardees and their projects will be recognized at the AEUS academy meeting in May 2024.
SUBMISSION
Submit a 3-minute video pitch of the proposed innovation, amount requested, how the award would be used to support the project, and how success of innovation will be assessed. Projects should be feasible within a one-year time frame. Applications must include video pitch, awardee's CV and a letter of support from a faculty advisor/mentor.
