Contributor Submission Policy
POCUS Atlas welcomes submission of ultrasound images, clips, and related educational materials from contributors. By submitting any content to POCUS Atlas, you represent and warrant that:
the submitted material has been fully de-identified and does not contain any protected health information, personal data, or other information that could reasonably be used to identify a patient;
you have the legal right, authority, and any necessary institutional permission to submit the content;
the submission does not violate any applicable law, regulation, contractual obligation, confidentiality duty, or institutional policy;
the content may be reviewed, edited, adapted, published, displayed, distributed, or otherwise used by POCUS Atlas for educational, editorial, promotional, and archival purposes in any format or media.
Contributors must not submit any material containing patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, accession numbers, facial images, voice recordings, embedded metadata, or any other direct or indirect identifiers. If there is any doubt as to whether content has been fully de-identified, it should not be submitted.
POCUS Atlas reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject, remove, edit, or decline to publish any submitted material for any reason, including concerns regarding privacy, quality, ownership, or educational value.
By submitting content, you acknowledge and agree that POCUS Atlas may rely on your representations regarding de-identification and permission to share the material. You further agree that you are solely responsible for the content you submit.
Limitation of Responsibility. POCUS Atlas does not independently verify the origin, ownership, consent status, or de-identification status of submitted materials in every instance and disclaims responsibility for contributor-submitted content to the fullest extent permitted by law. Each contributor remains solely responsible for ensuring that submitted materials are lawfully shared and appropriately de-identified.
